Photos Coming….

I am currently working on getting more photos on line for everyone to view....

It is taking a long time.... there are so many to go through....  I have to pick out the ones worth seeing.... then upload them all.... try to add some captions.  That amongst the everyday type stuff that I am still trying to get done .... it’s just taking forever cheese

I do have days 1 to 8 and day 56 set up in a Picasa Web Album....  If you would like to take a look at what I have so far, check it out here :  Cycle for Life Photo Album

I will get more done, so check back from time to time....

Until next time....

It worked….

What worked??

My attempt at tracking down Jason and Julie....  Jason’s mom, Bernice, has been tracking my progress and Jason and Julies as well (when I mentioned them) through my blog.  She took the time to send an e-mail and update me.

Jason and Julie have also finished their ride - Congratulations!!  It feels amazing doesn’t it....  Enjoy yourselves.... you deserve it.  I enjoyed the few days I had in St. John’s.... wish it could have been more. There is a lot to do there. Lot’s of things to see.  The people are fantastic.  Ah, the memories!

I look forward to hearing from you guys.... hint.... hint....

Until next time....

Great News….

I got the results from my latest PSA tests today....

After being at 0.4 for the past year.... and after putting my body through a workout unlike anything it has done before.... My PSA levels have dropped.  They are currently at 0.2!!!!

That’s fantastic news.... at least to me.  I didn’t think they would get lower than 0.4.... and I don’t think the doctors did either....

A little bit of great news!

Until next time....

Lance Armstrong LiveStrong Ride….

In honor of my battle with cancer, and for all of those millions of people in the same fight, I’m hoping to participate in the LIVESTRONG® Challenge Austin in October. I plan to ride my bike 100 miles and raise at least $15,000(my goal is $30,000) for the Lance Armstrong Foundation. I have a contribution from my Cycle for Life ride to start my fundraising with. If I can raise $15,000 or more I will get an invitation to the Ride for the Roses and a chance to meet Lance Armstrong.

The Lance Armstrong Foundation believes that in the battle with cancer, unity is strength, knowledge is power and attitude is everything. Founded in 1997 by cancer survivor and champion cyclist, Lance Armstrong, the LAF provides the practical information and tools people living with cancer need to live life on their own terms. Their mission is to inspire and empower people affected by cancer and they serve this mission through advocacy, public health and research programs.

If you would like to help out with this, please go to the “To Contribute” page and click on the link to my fundraising page.

Until next time....

Looking for Jason and Julie….

I’ve been trying to find out how Jason and Julie are doing in their ride across Canada....  If they are done, or almost done.  If anyone sees or hears from them… or either of you read this.... I would love to get in contact.

Until next time....
